Transfers

Guns and Ammo Warehouse is a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and Class III (NFA) dealer. As such we can operate as your legal transfer agent.

Firearms are ONLY accepted from or transferred to dealers, manufacturers or importers NOT from an unlicensed individual. We will do transfers between individuals if both are present at the time of the transfer.

TRANSFERS TO GUNS AND AMMO WAREHOUSE

Financial arrangements on the purchase and shipping of your firearm(s) must be done between the buyer and seller. Bring the following to initiate the transfer:

We will send our FFL to the dealer, along with the information to ensure the proper firearm is transferred.

Each firearm delivered is logged into our records. Once the internal paperwork is completed you will be notified that your firearm(s) is available for delivery.

When you arrive to pick up the firearm please bring the necessary identification (See our purchase page for details on what information is required). You will complete the necessary paperwork and we will submit the information for a NICS check. Once approved you may then take possession of the firearm(s).

Guns and Ammo Warehouse offers no warranty on transferred guns. If you have a problem with it that is between you and the dealer you got it from.

In the event of a wrong/unsatisfactory firearm we will ship it back for you for the cost of shipping (see outbound transfers) without charging a second transfer fee.

TRANSFERS FROM GUNS AND AMMO WAREHOUSE

Financial arrangements on the purchase of your firearm(s) must be done between the buyer and seller. The dealer or manufacturer to whom the gun is going must deliver a copy of their FFL, signed. This can be done via mail, fax or email. Their FFL must be on file before the firearm(s) can be shipped.

In addition to the transfer fee there is a shipping fee. You must pay the shipping fee, based on weight, destination and type of firearm (handgun or longgun). Insurance is available at 50 cents per $100.00 of value. If you elect NOT to insure the gun we will ship it at your risk and will not be responsible for damage, loss or theft while in transit.

We will provide you with a UPS tracking number.

COST OF TRANSFER
